The romance and legend of the desert southwest spring
to life from the ceramic murals of Brian Beamish. Carved in dramatic
relief and glazed in brilliant, uniquely blended colors, each work draws
the viewer into a three-dimensional fantasy of stark landscapes, desert
wildlife, Spanish missions, and Native American warriors.
Beamish continues to work in the sturdy Chavant modeler’s
clay used in automobile design, a skill he learned from his late father,
Fred Beamish, Sr., co-creator in Detroit of many classic auto designs
in the 1950s and 60s. Brian’s glazes are individually blended, some including
a metallic sheen of real copper, silver, and gold, and can be made to
reflect the color scheme of any setting a customer might choose.
A variety of themes and sizes are available, providing
a perfect accent to any home or office. Each piece is unique, and opens
a window in space and time to the bright horizons, freedom, and adventure
of the southwest frontier.
