Mac L. Pakula is a cartoonist and illustrator who lives in Oro Valley, Arizona. His formal schooling includes the School of Industrial Art, New York, and the Cartoonists and Illustrators School. Pakula has competed in a city-wide contest and was awarded first prize and received a scholarship. For many years he was associated with Marvel Comics, Spiderman, etc., and Pakula is listed in the Who’s Who in the Overstreet Comic Guide. As a tech, commercial artist and supervisor of the Graphics Department, Pakula has worked for aerospace programs as Northrop-Grumman, NASA, and The Apollo Projects, just to name a few.

    He recently became a member of theWildlife Art Association, and was juried into The American Juried Art Salon. A very large number of works by well known sculptors were entered and most were rejected. The eight distinguished jurists and chose Mac to receive the award of excellence and merit!
